Abstract
The distalization of mandibular dentition using orthodontic mini-implant is effective in treating patients with dental
Class III because it does not depend on patient¡¯s cooperation and there is no anchor loss. During distalization of the
mandibular dentition, appropriate force direction should be considered, which is determined by the position of the
orthodontic mini-implant and length of the hook. In this case, we report a case showing successful treatment result of
a patient with dental Class III malocclusion with hyperdivergent facial pattern using orthodontic mini-implant.
